Stag Lodge

Stag Lodge is a cosy retreat on the edge of the woods, tucked away in the heart of the South Downs National Park.  With a kitchenette, ensuite, private parking, fire pit and a fully enclosed garden for four legged companions, it's the perfect base for slowing down and exploring the Sussex countryside.  The sofa folds out if bringing a friend or the kids! 

Perfect for walking or cycling weekends, in a rural location with stunning Eartham Woods on your doorstep.   You'll be spoilt for choice with superb pubs close by for long lunches  and delicious dinners.  For wine lovers, Tinwood Estate is 5 mins away where you can have a tour and tasting in front of the vineyards. If you're visiting for wheels or weddings, then Goodwood and Upwaltham Barns are a short drive away.

The lodge is situated in the fenced west garden of the Cottage with a separate entrance so arriving is private and easy.  Petworth for Antique shopping and Historic Chichester for all modern amenities are a 10 minute drive away.  For beach lovers, The Witterings is 20 mins away. Stunning Chichester Harbour isn't far for sailing/cruising enthusiasts.

Stag Lodge is the perfect hideaway. Nestled just by Eartham woods, its location is perfect. Great for walking, particularly if you have a dog. Just a lovely atmosphere. Fleur and Adam are super helpful
